OVA stems from the search for absolute reversibility: designing a singular volume capable of shifting function simply through orientation. Its geometry is calibrated to work effortlessly in both directions. In one position, the central plane serves as a coffee table framed by structural legs; once flipped, the very same surface becomes an inviting seat flanked by integrated armrests. The design marries formal simplicity with structural rigor. Constructed from two wood elements, a metallic framework, and two structural support pieces, the system is engineered for intuitive assembly while providing maximum stability. This robustness enables OVA to comfortably support heavy seating and allows multiple modules to be stacked, transforming functional furniture into architectural compositions.
